Finally! I talked to Sean Hyland today and he said that he just finished test driving my car. They were about to wash it and then load it on the trailer. It will then make a voyage from Brantley,Al over here to me in Atlanta. I can't wait! I had my car trucked down to Brantley at the beginning of September last year. While it has almost been a year, it has been worth it!!!. If I can find my digicam I will have pics soon! The drive from Brantley to here is 5 hours. They left around 11:30 EDT so it will be a while.

/me is excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:D

Me excited too because you're taking me for a drive in that bad boy! Where do you drive to test its speed other than a drag strip...?

It was in Canada for a while right?

Skoorb we will test it on 1-65! Just kidding. Umm... we will have to goto a few secret spots I know around Bham. My movers come wednesday so I will be moved into my house on either the 15th or 16th.

The engine was made in Canada and so was the tranny. They shipped the parts from there.

Last week on the news there was a kid killed on lakeshore dragging in his old accord with a mustang and apparently the cops are on the lookout for that now in that area so just to let you know :) I also don't really want to spend a night in jail if you're pulled over at 120 in a 60 ;)

As a fellow Birmingham resident (with an office off Lakeshore) let me know when you're going to test this beast so I can be FAR away.

I am not going to mess around Lakeshore too much traffic. Even when we use to race there two years ago it was too dangerous. Skoorb, I know of a place off of 269 near my old house. No traffic and nice straight flat road. I have regulary done 150 on it.

I expect timeslips by this weekend.

I see no fewer than 10 Alabama tracks listed here. I know at least one of them must run wednesday night drags or a friday test and tune.

The only 1/4 close to Bham is Steele or Montgomery. Since I will be moving I will not be able to head to the track until next week. I really want to run it but hey.

I just wish Holley would fix the solenoid problem for the Noszle kit already. I had to go back to a 125 after they were experiencing problems with stuck solenoids. From what Sean Hyland told me, Holley redesigned the solenoids and are testing them at SHM in two weeks.

Did they expect it to take that long?

Viper GTS

No one expected it to take this long. It was a multitude of things that led to the delay. I will tell the whole story soon. :)

Well my car is here. I would take pictures but there is no light outside. A transformer blew or something and all the street lights are out. I heard a boom and there went the power. Strangely enough indoor lights work on one side of the road, but exterior lights work on neither side.

I took the car for a test drive, but haven't sprayed it yet. It felt pretty wicked off the spray!

Aww man still haven't sprayed it! On the way to Buckhead a Porsche Carrera and 360 Modena wanted to play around. The 360 hauled ass past me and then I took off but got caught behind a slow ass car. I dipped around it and flew up on the 360's ass. We both let off and I was behind him in line for the Toll. He PAID mine. The lady at the booth said the guy in the Ferrarri said to keep his change and pay for the mustang.

I can't wait to feel it on the spray. I haven't sprayed it yet because I broke the plastic toggle switch for the bottle heater and couldn't superglue it back on.

I just can't believe how quick it is off the spray. I can't wait to hit it!
