I did. I'm on a business trip this week in PA, so I don't get to pick it up until Saturday. :(

<--posting from some ****** Best Western in somewhereville PA with a BEAUTIFUL view of the nearby nuclear power plant...LOL.

:p

TMI (Three Mile Island) Woot!

I think it's the Limerick Plant...

PaulNEPats -

Now you just need to flash the firmware..that was fun when I did it....

:)

I used to work at that plant on a project doing computer upgrades. It's a very impressive plant, very clean. The lines coming out of the power block are loudly crackling with electricity. They had a red LED readout on the wall showing the output, and each of the reactors was producing something like 1190 megawatts of power.

Nice TV, it has the MTK chip as well (so it shouldn't have the SD problems ATI chips have). I have a 332H (Pixelworks DNX chip) and when it came out the box, it wasn't that great neither because the colors were washed out. After calibrating it, the colors are very vivid & I love it now. The best part is the 1:1 pixel mapping built in (aspect ratio on controller) because I can connect to my HTPC without any overscan.

I'm 30 mins from Boyertown and know several people who live in tha area. I love passing the Limerick plant when I'm on 422 or 724 up to Boyertown.

And yes, I realize this is an old thread, but I felt like adding that.

I am waiting for it to go on sale

You already missed the sale. :p

2007 will be the fall of LCD prices.... (ok, I'm just really hoping they plummet, I don't want to do any wacky overnight black friday business to get a good deal on an LCD HDTV)

All I want is a 37" 1080p LCD with HD tuner for around $699 I hope that becomes a reality in mid to late 2007.

I was actually quite impressed with how big this TV was- It looks a lot bigger than 37". At $765 this set was a steal and I highly recommend it if you're looking for a good LCD HDTV for the money.

There are two things that I think have happened.

Either that philips tv was garbage and you replaced it with slightly better garbage or...
The Olevia TV is decent and the display model in the store is purposely made to look crappy so the sales are shifted to the more expensive TVs. (The one I saw had the most screwed up colors and blurry picture)

Hmmm...... Was the philips a CRT? RPTV?
