Hi all:

To those of you with the ATI All in Wonder 8500 DV, would you be willing to zip up or ISO the ATI installation CD for me? I'm helping a friend with his installation and for some reason the CD he received won't read. We've contacted ATI support but it'll take them a few days to get the order processed and then a few more days until the CD is shipped out; I'm hoping to have this card installed before today's out. If you could PM me or email me with a link where you've hosted it, that'd be great...

If the CD has marketing materials, etc, you can skip out of that; I just need the drivers that come with it + the MMC to control the TV playback and capture.

Thanks guys!

"the CD won't read " ....?? in his CDRom drive? can't even access the CD thru WinExplorer? The CD has corrupted files? the CD is ...blank?

Not entirely sure what's wrong with the CD, but it simply won't read. We tried it on my computer too (the CD). Probably a bad pressing job.

Hey, thanks for the tip... unfortunately the download site referred to users by Rage3d forums (warp2search) doesn't have the file (Gets a 404). If anyone has it handy and would like to offer it that would be great.

Thanks!

making an ISO of the entire CD would be pirating (probably why sites now have 404 or have been removed) since the DVD player includes the MPEG2 codec that requires a royalty. that's the only reason. I'm sure you can get it through newsgroups just not on High quality forums like here.
