Got it. N95!

Finally after a year of lusting I picked this up, unlocked.

After two "long" weeks of nigh constant N95 firmware upgrades, patches, signing and software searching I finally have my device in the condition that I want it.

I also realised that I want it to do more than it does.

Better handling streaming video. Better GPS. Better Wifi and 3G speeds. Better screen(touch). Better sex. Better breakfasts. Better job.

So finally after using my mail for exchange and getting all work emails and trying to T9 my way through some responses, I realized exactly what my N95 was.

A camera, an MP3 player, a phone (that no one else has, at least in the US).

It can, email, video, gps, youtube and pretty much anything else under the sun. BUT it does not replace an Iphone for multimedia. It does not replace my webcam for MSN. It does not replace my HTC Apache for email and texting.

But I'm ok with that. I have a phone that makes everyone else jealous. When I'm at a lounge and put it on the table, people stare an extra four seconds. When it rings with 3D tones, and I "flip silent", people's jaws drop at the camera side.

Once I realized this, I was happy. Finally from head to toe I had what I wanted. All things considered, I support development of any and all software with my heart, soul and wallet. But for $389 USD I have the sexiest most understated phone/cam in the world.

ah its not that great....i got the n95 8gb...its faster than the n95...but the f'n thing is still slow as hell...it takes like 15 secs to take a picturee, gps is slow to lock on, etc....looking to dump it for something else.

but if your happy with it...great. Congratulations.

Hmm. I'm sure it has a great cam, but a friend of mine had one and complained it took weeks to snap a pic at full res. If that's all it's good for, apart from calls, then it had better be pretty good at it, and by accounts, it isn't. You wanted some bling, you got it.

Although I believe the firmware I'm running 20.0.015 is far beyond what the RM-160(n95-2) is currently allowed. I've compared with my friend's 8GB model and my pictures take faster and are much more clear.

With my 8GB micro-SD there is little difference in storage, although I wish I had the extra ram yours has for Flash Light 3 true FLV player stuffs.
