I was involved in really minor car accident. I was stopped behind a car while waiting to make a left turn from one way street on to one way street. I thought that the car in front of me already went and I was watching traffic for a break so I can go, I let go of break and hit him in the bumper at around 3mph. We both got out of the car and he said don't worry about and left. I got really lucky, I thought he will play it like he got hurt and will take my insurance and will try to collect on it.

I was late for an appointment and didn't have time to dick around with you after you rearended me, but I have your license number. My attorney will be contacting you shortly in regards to the whiplash I received when you carelessly hit me, destroyed the rear of my car and caused me to have waking nightmares. I am going to be the proud owner of everything you used to have.

What after s7en7y's story you needed you own?

It's brake not break also.

So why'd you even get a lawyer and didn't he tell you by not reporting the accident you violated the law?

lol most people let these things slide, and so should you. I tapped someone on the highway once, and although we traded insurance information I don't think he ever did anything, although I told my insurance company just to be on the safe side. Since he never did anything far as I know I think the whole thing just disappeared.

Then months later this 80 year old guy tapped our car on the highway at like 5 mph. I got out and looked at the bumper and it wasn't too bad so we just let it up.

So the point is that, bumpers are for light bumping, and you should let people go if you're bumped, because one day you might do the same thing. The end.

Well $500 or less is pretty objective so I'd make sure I'd call it in if I were the 'at-fault' driver to protect myself from someone reporting a hit and run. Plus most insurance companies demand a report of all accidents despite DMV laws...I wouldn't set myself up for a cancellation either....however that is besides the point.....

who are you really? purposely making errors, making obvious false stories (you said in another thread today you had been in accidents before, however a normal person would have said I was JUST in an accident too).

I am thinking someone on vacation and bored.

i am not on vacation or making up any stories, to the thread that you are refering i was marelly responding to the thread as me being in an accident 1 hour before which was really minor was not nessesary to that discussion.
