got hooked up with dsl last week

no technician came to split the line. all the phone company did was provision it while i was at school. so what kind of dsl do i have? adsl? g.lite? cdsl?

last year when i got dsl, a tech came to split the line. how'd they manage not to do that this time?

Probably depends on your wiring and the tech. They can keep it on the one line and then you are supposed to put those filters on all the non-dsl equipment.

i didn't have to do a thing. i'm even using the dsl "modem" (is "bridge" the term for these things?) they gave me last year
