A couple of stations got down to $3.87 but today all the stations around shot back up to $4.09 out here in the burbs.

I haven't been to the city because they are having the NATO thing there but I'm sure the stations there are all well over $4 still.

Yeah right, it got to over $4 while Bush was in office where I live. I know in fantasy land your gas prices are different but this sounds pretty stupid to me. Besides that, the right owns the oil industry so why wouldn't they allow prices to go up while Dems are in office? They absolutely would artificially raise prices for that reason and that reason alone. The same reason there always seems to be a crash at the end of a Pubs 2nd presidential term.

Oil below $90 for first time in a long time.

They are running out of places to store all the overflowing oil.

Gas jumped 30 cents in Chicago and suburbs ahead of the Memorial Holiday.

We were just under $4 for the first time in a long time and then it shot up to $4.09 in the burbs and around $4.29 in the city.

It used to be called price gouging and was not legal but it is now standard business practice in the U.S.

The price went down for probably looks like 99% of the country before this Memorial Holiday except for here.

I had stations here in my neighborhood running as low as $3.87 last week.

They jumped as high as $4.23 here at the beginning of this week.

They have since dropped back to some being $4.09, others $4.05 today.

Someone must have showed them the error of their ways.

While they still made the jump up while 99% of the country went down is still a fact.

I would like to think that thanks to my posting their huge jumps that someone told them they better back off.

There should be FBI like investigations to the huge difference this area is always paying compared to the rest of the U.S.

Someone even bragging in the gas thread today about paying $3.27 in South Carolina.

Is South Carolina a different country? Nope, still the U.S.
