I was at a gas station in the rental truck I had while my car was being repaired. The truck has cloth seats, and has been shocking the hell out of me every time I get out of it. Well, I was grounding myself by touching the key to the side of the door, but I forgot this time. I reached for the handle at the gas pump, and flames shot out onto my arm and caught my sleeve on fire. I tried to take off the shirt and was basically throwing my arms up in the air trying to get it to go out. A Deputy Sheriff was pumping gas two pumps over, and he ran over and tackled me and put the fire out. I was charged with waving a firearm. 🙁
