Practice what you want to say at the interview, because under stress you may for get something. And the most importance thing is to be your self, and be confident.

Good luck!

Be prepared for the "so tell me a little about yourself" question :)

Know what your WEAKNESSES are, they may ask that and many people stumble on that.

prepare a response to that "tell me about yourself" question and rehearse it, make sure that you convey all the pertinent information about yourself that applies to the job. I've been to about 10+ interviews and i've been asked that question EVERYTIME.

Use the line "that is a good qestion" or "could you repeat that again please" to give yourself extra time to think about question that is unclear or if you don't know the anwers to.
If you don't know an anwers to a question, then you could say "unfortunately I can't think of a good anwers at the moment, but I will get back to you with it", and make sure you follow through if you use this line.

The best addvice I could give you is to be confident, think positive, and smiles.

take a look at the website and see what the job is,
or if you know already, think about how you could improve what they're doing and let them know what you can do for them
it's nice if you actually talk specifically about stuff they're using..

Make sure you've got the right directions and get there early. Dress formally (no flashy ties) and take off the jewelry. Don't forget to polish your dress shoes (I cannot understand how people forget that). Be relaxed and as personable as possible. When I'm nervous before an interview, I like to think about something funny to loosen up a bit. Maintain eye contact, and make sure you have a firm--but not deathlike--grip. Don't sit down until the interviewer sits down or asks you to have a seat. If they ask you to tell them about yourself, try to be genuine. These people have heard a lot of BS and don't need any more stories for their colleagues. It is important during an interview to get your points and strengths across in a concise and eloquent manner. Don't drone on.

After the interview, don't forget to send a thank you letter on nice stationery.

I just had an interview yesterday and was offered the job today. Most of these suggestions are really good. Be well dressed, I brought some extra copies of my resume as well as my licenses and transcripts. Look them in the eye and seem upbeat. I would strongly recommend rehersing answers to typical interview questions (the we ones we love to hate.) Most of my interview was just BS'ing about the industry (aviation) and talking about my background. Laugh at their jokes and be sure to ask lots of questions. People love to talk about their area of expertise and nothing is worse than saying "umm, no" when they ask if you have any questions. The best attitude is to just be laid back. I can guarantee you it won't be as bad as you think.

Good luck

I don't have a tonne of experience, but I would advise that you try to be conversational. By that, I do not mean use slang or anything like that, but do not sound robotic or rehearsed. I know it can be tough, but stay calm. Just pretend you are talking to a teacher or something like that... it is a formal relationship, but not one where you should feel intimidated.

Sometimes, try not to think it's an interview. If your friend's father asked you to tell him a little about yourself, you probably wouldn't have a hard time. So don't sweat it when the interviewer asks you, just answer the question politely (and of course, a little more job related than when talking to the father).

Try to inject a little humor (nothing crude), and demonstrate that you listen. For example, at an interview I went to, the interviewers briefed all of the potential candidates. During the briefing, they mentioned that they were tech people and not human resources people. Then before my personal interview started, they said they would be interviewing using the "behavioral" interviewing method. I jokingly commented asked if they were sure they didn't work for human resources, as that's pretty sophisticated for tech guys. We all had a good laugh, and it's good to "break the ice".

I wasn't joking. I own my own business and I refuse to hire anyone, no matter how qualified they are, if their fly is open during the interview. It's damn important to check your zipper before interviewing.

always back up your answer with an example.
if you are asked your weakness, say what it is and how you are trying to overcome it (ie i used to be really shy but ive been working really hard to over come that by....)
know stuff about the company before going into the interview that way you can know what their company ideals are and you can fit your answers to meet those kinds of things.

goodluck!
