so the message is this:

Would you ship to Gaza-Israel? I pay by Bidpay and have 100% +ve feedback. Buy it now price for convenience

He's got all positive feedback from sellers, most of them have oaver 2000 score in feedback. Some even have more than 10000. What do you guys think? Should I sell?

He emailed me through ebay's contect thingy. It's 124.95 buy it now plus shipping. I've never used bidpay...

now think...what would be your recourse if you did get ripped off? "oh, i got this email offer..."

also ask yourself why wouldn't he just bid thru ebay.

If the guy wants to bid on the auction, then let him do so. Otherwise, either report his offer to ebay or ignore him.

LOL,Bidpay went bye-bye months ago. Of course even if you did get paid by some other funds he'll claim the camera never showed up and will want a 100% refund.

Forget it,out of 300 MILLION people in the US,someone will want that camera....

I always put "Sales to US 48 only" in all my auctions. It's not worth the hassle for me to deal with any other shipping when I know the item will sell here.

I always put the US-only thing in my auctions too, but I've sold a modem to a Canadian, a longboard fin to a guy in Japan, and most of my mom's figurines have gone to people in the UK and Australia (where they're more popular). The people always emailed me to ask first... and I guess it was in the day when the Nigerian scam wasn't so prevalent.

Yup,and there's also the seller option that will block anyone outside of the US from even being able to bid. Just putting the "US only" in your listing won't stop many from outside of the US from bidding. Its great, you can also prevent deadbeats with -1 or more feedback from being able to bid on your auction.
