Got an extended battery for my G1

Turned my G1 into a brick

But, it's been on 6 hours now with GPS, BT, and surfing for about 2 hours, and have only used 20% of my battery.

The factory battery is usually toast by 6 hours of use...

I was actually thinking of that when I got my G1. But it would have made the thing huge and at some point its just easier to use a small laptop.

Current gig has a "no internet use on corp pc's" policy, using a netbook would be asking for them to make a new rule, and it would likely be "no netbooks in the work area" So I'll use my G1 & be as discrete about it as I can. I share a common work area with lots of traffic, so leaving it around charging is asking for it to be stolen.

If it was 3G it would still chew thru it in 12 hours! Sounds good.

It is 3G, that's why I quit using my hacked gen I iPhone.

I got about 35 hours on it, and the battery level dropped to 31%, caved in and charged it last night, work today so I wanted it to have a full charge.
