Got an entire cd in a single mp3, anyway to automatically split these?

Got like 12 tracks in this single mp3 that's an hour long. few month ago I had a program (open source I think) that would automatically split these into the 12 tracks.
Just wondering if anyone knows
thanks

I don't know of any automatic ones, but you can do this manually (and fairly easily) in Audacity.

The program I'm thinking of worked really well. Like the 12 mp3 that it splits actually has the individual track titles automatically.

Maybe check out mp3split.

This looks like the one I had before, but how do I install it?
All the file there is like .gz extensions

Are u using wondoze or linuz.

I'm using windowsxp.
I tried to look for it under windows GUI, but there was no installer anywhere
I'll give audacity a try

sorry I'm pretty bad with computer programming.
I have no idea how to compile, if it's relatively simple, could you give me the steps?
