got an eagle!

on a par 4! second shot is a 9 iron that traced nicely towards the flag, but since I couldn't see the bottom of the flag I didn't see the ball go in. As I walked up to the green I was baffled not to find my ball anywhere, sure enough it was in the hole!

First eagle ever.

And I continued the round and shot a smooth 100 . The last week I played at the same course I shot 87!

That's awesome. I was in the same situation once, par 4, second shot was a 9 iron and it ended up less than 6" from the hole.

Who cares? You got an eagle for 2. Always nice, doesn't happen very often...second only to the hole in one.

lol I always yell BITE BITE but the ball just keeps rolling to the other side of the green (usually to a greenside bunker)

Whenever I yell at my ball while it's in motion it usually invloves %$@#&* and occasionally %$#*@$.

That's a combination of the greens and your swing. I played Sunday and no matter what I did to get a TON of back spin the balls didn't grab. I blame the greens for this one.

Let's put it this way...I kept looking around to repair my ball mark. There was none. Like hitting into a parking lot.

Eitherway, you holed out for a 2. Doesn't matter what it looked like. Your card says 2

I tossed the card, but the ball IS a keeper!

i only have had one eagle...on a par 3, hahaha. seriously i did.

congrats though. it's shots like the one you just had that make you go back for more even though you shot a 100. i shot a 91 when i had the ace. i haven't had a chance to play in a long time since i started working fulltime and quit my college golf course job.
