Got an Acer P244w. Do I need a HDMI-DVI converter?

I just bought an Acer P244w today and realized it has 2 HDMI ports + VGA (what were they thinking?). Currently I am running a VGA cable from the monitor to my 8800GTS 640 with a DVI-VGA adapter.

Do I need a HDMI-DVI converter? Will there be any noticeable differences?



And some unrelated off-topic questions:
1. Are there no drivers for this LCD? (it is pretty new)
2. How the hell do I calibrate it? Where do I get ICC profiles?
