Got a ticket for trespassing during races, what now?

They blocked the exits of this parking lot and just started giving tickets to everyone there for trespassing. Now i got a court date on Jan 10, 2002. Just a couple things:
I know its a long shot, but there were no signs that said no trespassing so would that help?
If not how much does this usually cost, is it permenantly on my record, or can i pay a lawyer like a speeding ticket and get it fixed?

Good, all I really care about is if it will be on my permanent record. I also do not plan to fight it. I am wondering how much you guys think it will be $$$? I heard somewhere that its 40$ for the first time. Let me know.

call em up and offer to settle/pay whatever they want - make it go away
getting an attorney will cost more.

Go to prosecutors office or call them , as they will answer your questions free. Ask if you can plead guilty to a motor vehicle offence , no police record ,only dmv. Then decide if lawyer is needed.
