Got a ticket for "Disobeying" Stop Sign..

What da heck r u supposed to do at the stop sign?!.. am i supposed to stop?


ok.. jk.. but when u come to stop sign.. do u stop completely and wait like 3 sec?...
i freaking stopped, but as soon as car stopped i accelerated and cop saw that as disobeying stop sign.!@~!?! MOFMGFUKGINPOLICCE...

I just feel like cops aren't there to protect us, yet to tax & punish us most of times..
Now i have to pay $105 and go thru 4hour of "YAY LET'S WEAR YOUR SEATBELT!" bu!!sh!t.. just because i didnt wait another .5sec at the stop sign..

You sound pretty retarded. It's no surprise you don't know what to do at a stop sign. I suggest you read "Things to Not Do at A Stop Sign," By Spongebob Squarepants.

I got pulled over while on my K by an officer who said I did not stop for the sign. I asked him which foot I had down when I was at the sign and he replied "your left" after which he paused and let me go :)

Police have a number of calls that they can get:

Code 1: Get there when you can. Obey traffic laws.
Code 2: Get there quickly. Treat stops like yeild signs.
Code 3: Lights and sirens. No traffic signs have to be observed, drivers must pull over to let you though.

The car you saw may have been on a code 2 call.

What you should do is go to the nearest DMV office, give them your license and say, 'Please revoke this as I am too incompetent to drive. plzkthxbye.'

Maybe you didn't actually come to a complete stop... Sometimes the decelleration makes it feel like you've stopped when you haven't. Or maybe he gave you a ticket for not looking both ways. Or maybe you didn't stop with your entire car behind the stop sign or the white line. I dunno. Did you... ASK him why he gave you the ticket when you believed you came to a complete stop?

What you did is something called a rolling stop... and yes people get ticketed ALL the time for it, and it just happened to be your turn.

i got stopped recently for not making a complete stop at a stopsign, but he let me off with a warning.
