Since I got a check today for 1,300 I figured I would look at a new case.
I have an Antec full tower that is heavy I bought at CompUSA in about 2000.
I don't know what they were thinking with this case but both my xp and 939 abit boards have the ram right where the haning drive bay is installed, making it impossible to have the drives there.
I just place the cage in the top portion of the case where the larger drives would go. They just rest there with the cage sitting there not fastened to anything else.
I read the roundup with the eclipse and antec p180. I can run to BB and get it for about 150.
I had to break out some of the front panels to lower the dvd rom to plug it into the motherboard.
I read how placing the psu on the bottom might be a problem with the 180, but the KN8 has the PSU plug on the right edge around the middle of the board and not near the top like the test motherboard they had.
I have the Thermaltake purepower 420 which has long plugs.
