Got a rebate check from Maxtor. Says "positive ID required" in big red type on the back. Can I deposit it at an ATM?

The bank is closed on sundays, so I can't take it inside. Will there be any problems depositing it in the ATM like a normal check?

Just sign your name on the back of the check and deposit it in the ATM

I do it all the time.

OK, didn't know if the bank would want to see my ID before depositing a check that says "POSITIVE IS REQUIRED" on it.
