got a question for the people using AddAction.net as a webhost...

Rossman feel free to chime in if you know the answer to this.

So I was all set to get my website hosted with addaction but then I came across this in their TOS:

Examples of unacceptable content or links:
· Pirated software.
· Pornography.
· Violations of Copyrights.
· Hacker programs or archives.
· Warez sites.
· Hate propaganda
· Gaming sites
· Anime
· Top-Sites.

Do you guys know is this refers to gaming as in computer/video games or if it refers to gambling sites? I want to make a forum for my counter-strike clan but if that violates their TOS I'll look elsewhere. Thanks.

haha - hell no! Why would he do that? He would get an answer that way. If he asks the good all-knowing folks of AT, he's sure to get no real answer but flames instead! Rock on!!!
 
I asked them but I guess their sales support is really slow...its been like 3 hours. Since I heard of the deal here on AT I thought someone here would know.

sales support and tech support are two different things...for tech support 3 hours is not slow, for sales it can be.

If Shiva112 took my advice I posted earlier, they should receive a response later today.
 
I got a response back...apparently they allow content related to gaming information, but they don't want people running actual games on the webservers...seems like their TOS is a little ambigious.
 
Oh sorry guys didn't see this 🙂

Turns out they just don't want people running game servers using the host. I'm not sure how thats possible but I guess they've had problems with the site. Gaming info is fine. What I started is a forum for my CS clan 🙂
