What about speed? I see some "285 MB/s" 80-90 GB units in the same ballpark price range of later generation "500 MB/s" 60 GB units. I'm leaning towards the slower 90 GB units, since 60 GB is a little cramped.
I'm guessing the 90 GB will be fine, because what will really speed things up is the extremely low seek time.
My guess is though, that having a 285 vs the 500 would mean the difference between a 30 second and a 15 second boot time, as long as your computer has a robust enough architecture that it can achieve those speeds. If that is negligible to you, or if the computer you are putting the drive in cant really get up into the 500's anyway, then yeah id say go for the larger one.
