I've got about 8 pair or more of headphones around here, mostly older and clunky styles, some newer such as the ones that came with my Ipod and my son's PSP.
I really can't abide by earbuds or anything that sits in my ear canal, so I'm looking for ideas on light, comfortable, decent sounding headphones that are good while literally "on the run."
Thx.

I know exactly what you should get. Pick up some Koss KSC-75s at your local circuit city (or off Amazon.com). They fit around your hear, they arent buds or canalphones. They sound quite good for $18-20.

Link to Amazon, for <$14.

I read all of the reviews listed there at Amazon on those Koss headphones.
You seem to have hit the nail on the head.
Thx again.

NP dude. I used them all last year with my cd player walking to class at Uni. I go them for my dad to use with his ipod mini, and he liked them a lot. Also just got some for my mom to use with her mini. Enjoy.

i have earbuds from shure and they're an awesome compliment to the iPod in my opinion. the cheapest i can think of is still pricey, at about $100.

I don't know about running but I really like my Sennheiser PX100 headphone for portable device such as iPod and PSP. Light weight, comfortable, and good sound.

Thought I'd update and get back to you guys to let you know I ended up buying both the KSC-75s and the Sennheiser PX100.

They both sound fantatstic. The KSC-75 might sound a tad better(unbelieveable for under $20) while the Sennheisers are just a bit more comfortable. Only time will tell which ones I end up using more.

Thanks again for the input.

lol, word.

I tell you, the KSC-75s are amazing for the money. I found that after I used my 75s for a while, they fit a bit better to my ears. You can also bend them a bit yourself..just wear them a bit.
