Got a new Geforce Need Some help

I just installed a Leadtek Geforce 2 pro 64 meg card and I cannot enable fast writes without corrupting my registry?!?!?!

I did a clean install and still had the same problems. I also noticed in the Winforce information that I am running at 2X AGP? WTF?

I tried it without overclocking and still got the same results.

Here is another question...by default with this card I believe sidebanding is enabled how to a disable it to try to enable fast writes?

here is my system

P3 500 O/C'ed to 825
256 meg of Mushkin Rev 2.0 RAM
Asus P3V4X mobo
Leadtek Geforce 2 Pro 64 meg
I have the latest via drivers installed and I also have the drivers installed for the video card that came with it

Is there better nvidia drivers which will help me?

Can't you set it to 4x and turn sideband addressing off in your BIOS? I could on my old BX board, of course not 4x, just 2x to 1x..etc.

Go to the Leadtek website FAQ page they have a registry hack you can download to force the AGP4X while you are there also download the registry hack to undo it. I have a Leadtek GTS 32 meg on the same mobo you have and when I ran in 4X I had a lot of lock ups. The gain you get just isn't worth it in my opinion
