i had a 128meg card for a long time. i just got a 2gig card last week and love it. i went to the zoo yesterday and took 200 pictures and had plenty of room for more. i am very happy with having it and wish i would have done it a long time ago.

Go for the 2GB for vids. I just picked up a 2GB for my SD450.
I can't believe they ship these cameras with a 16MB card. haha. They must pick these up on the serious cheap.

Or you can read my post in this very thread and save $10.........
Guess which one I bought :)
Good choice. I have the same card I linked to, and it works perfectly fine in my DSLR.

2x 1GB "high speed" Anything larger and you'll suffer lag time between shots. I wouldn't even touch HDD CF cards.

Get 2GB, it's like $40 on sale and you'll never run out. It's pretty much the price/performance sweet spot ATM.

I just got a 2GB SD X133 speed card from Fry's for $35. On my 5 GB camera I get 1384 pictures on the largest finest setting.

Memory is cheap. The more the better.

Using a microdrive is like carrying a ticking timebomb in your camera.
