Nice! We've been exceedingly happy with our 2010 Jetta TDI. A fun car to drive and 44mpg on average to boot.

I didn't want a sports car so, stop crying.

I was too cheap to get the TDI.

I did not want anything Asian(Meaning a vehicle made in some Asian country or designed there). Of what I can afford that I have driven, I have never taken strongly to any Asian vehicle.

To the guy who said that most of the problems I/my family have had with cars is due to those cars being European. You sir are flat wrong. Read more carefully. Just because I listed three manufacturers does not mean that we have only had three cars. Quite the Contrary. On average there is a new vehicle in my immediate family once every 18 months. The majority of those vehicles are GMC/Chevy. They all have failing components all the same.

Time to go take some pictures and get some food.

Seriously, a whole 11 months of highway driving and no problems!


Honestly, that being a surprise occurrence says something about VW's reliability. No new car should have reportable problems after a year of owenership.
