Info
I also got a replacement seat
The original seat was This
It's nice, but I am a big guy, and sitting on it left me feeling like I just got out of prison (or Catholic school 😀)
The seat I got was This

P.S. if someone wants to buy my old seat PM me, I'll give you a good deal. 🙂 It hasn't been used at all. Changed the seat when I bought the bike.

my gf was looking at buying one of those hardrocks...they have diff versions of it too i believe but i don't know too much about this stuff.. tell me more about yours.. and how much was it?

The bike was $325. But I got a new seat, U-lock and water bottle, and it came out to around 400.
I like it so far. I will change the handles though, cus they are way hard on my wrists

that's a good entry level MTB. Be careful or you'll find yourself spending ludicrous money on bikes, parts, gear, ect. I started with a GT backwoods back in 94 and ended up spending close to 10 grand on bikes and gear by 98 :Q I haven't spent nearly that much since and I just keep adding parts to my SuperV 2000 frame set to keep it sweet. Have fun and wear a helmet 😉

That's another thing I have to get. A helmet. I have an abnormally large head (8 1/4) So that one's gonna be hard to do.

Bump for my question 🙂 Or i'll start a new thread.
Well based on the testimonials of some of the members here I talked my bro into buying a Trek 7200 but that's not near your price range but the 7100 can be had for about 230-250 U.S.$ and it's sweet as well., just not quite as good components and no front suspension but you won't need it anyways.
