What's fun to print, I can't do any big parts , 3 inch x 3 inch might be the max. What's desirable that I can print on Etsy (would it even sell on there? the end product isn't as finished and smooth as I thought) I want to make something and recoop some of my costs. What filament do you guy use to make sure the stuff holds up. So far I've mostly printed keychains and trinkets. Nothing notable or pretty.

The Linux penguin(Tux) and the BSD daemon(Beastie) should be doable, and might sell.

Print several life-sized replicas of your penis with your phone number engraved on them. Hand them out to hot chicks at bars. Profit.

I ended up buying a 3D printer kit so I could make this 1:1 replica of Overwatch's Widowmaker's weapon (Widow's Kiss), which has actual retracting capabilities just like the in-game weapon. The hard part is that the item has a height requirement of 200mm, and most 3D printers below $1000 only handle up to 170-180mm in height. Apparently, you can cut them in software, but that just makes assembly harder. I've assembled some of the printer so far, but I can attest that the Chinese-sourced instructions aren't always very clear. :p

My first print will be a leveling sensor holder.

The balls you are clearly lacking.

Failing that, if I had a printer that could only do a max of 3x3, I'd probably craft some miniatures for my RPG's.
