but since you want to make this serious, i do think it's a little weird you *only* like asian women, and you're not asian. i'm not also a sicko because a.) i'm asian myself and b.) i don't have an asian fetish. i can understand liking asians.... some of them are quite attractive... but to ONLY like asians? that strikes me as weird.

It's not completely exclusive. I guess I rarely meet an asian girl that I don't find attractive unless she's chunky (very rare) or, well, that's about the only condition. Plus, asian girls that are hot are REALLY HOT.

All of this aside, on average I tend to like their personality and mannerisms a lot more.

My friends know I like asian girls, including asian girls. It doesn't freak them out. They take it as a compliment. There are lots and lots of white guys with asian girls around here.

If you ask me the north american asian culture has remained faily tightly knit despite the concerns.

I really find it rude, though, when asian guys make comments like that near me in cantonese and I pick up some of the words ... you can't just assume that based on the way someone looks, they don't understand you. And if I don't pick up everything I will remember it and ask one of my other asian friends what it means.

I would not break out into french near a bunch of asians to insult them. Then again, I find no reason to insult them. But it's funny how minorities are the ones who often continue to brood trouble while at the same time complaining of being treated unfairly.

I tolerate it because I play the same game back if my friends start openly joking about white guy this and white people that, I will lightheartedly make comments about asians in general and they have to swallow them or retort.

In general, I realize that asians living in north america have made a huge adjustment if they weren't born here and the culture barrier can cause some animosity. I go half-way by learning some cantonese, eating *proficiently* with chopsticks, knowing how to make sushi, knowing some east asian history, drinking bubble tea, playing badminton, playing big 2, euchre, bridge, scrabble (all popular north-american-asian games): how much more asian can a white guy get? Hell, I can sign my name in chinese!

When I've made all of that effort and an asian insults me based on my race, it doesn't make me happy. It's not like I'm some red-neck person who refers to "them yella' people" all the time.

Anyway, rant is now off.

Would you believe I have hardly any asian male friends? Actually that's not true, I do have several asian male friends but they are geeky types and don't really care whether I like asian girls or small bunny rabbits.
