Futureshop sales associate. Kind of bottom of heap kind of job but better than nothing. The job is commission or 9.00 per hour whichever is more. Going to still keep looking for something better. Only issue is I don't start for one to two weeks. They are basically hiring for the back to school rush and if you turn out to be a good emplyee they look at keeping you longer, so it's a bit of a temp job from their perspective too.

Congratulations!

It may not be what you're looking for, but it'll get you out of the house and interacting with people again. That'll get you more comfortable dealing with people, and make upcoming interviews easier for you.

Got to start somewhere. What do you do? Sell computer parts?

Olds is an asshole so don't listen to him. You will be working and contributing something to society. Regardless of what the job is it beats sitting around with your head in your ass.

28 and got a high schooler job, nice!

41% of people turned down jobs this quarter offered to them. So even though we're in a deepshit economy with a double dipper around the corner thanks to retarded "economic" policies brought into effect by the Democrat political machine, some people have turned down jobs, thinking they're too "good" for them.

So I commend the OP for at least getting a job instead of sponging off of mom and dad and/or society.

Good job! I just landed a job too. I also made sure to post a thread about it.

Both of us make more than Oldsmoboat, so I'm not too worried about his comment.
