Got a free audio rack yesterday - is it any good?

I was helping my friend move stuff into storage and some couple gave this rack for free - it looked like a storage unit to me so I took it, but later found it was an audio rack.

I have no idea about audio/video home theatre - is this brand supposed to be good? It's Bell'O and it's italian, and according to the first link, the retail on this is $700ish.

It also seems that this is a very older model, as there's virtually no reference to it except the first link. The 2052E is the one you'll find if you google and it's a TV stand.

I'm thinking of selling it, but if I don't, what are some things I can do with it?

its an audio rack meant for audio/video gear. so either use it for that purpose or put whatever the hell you want on it

Send it to me then. I have plenty of gear that could use a new home. 😀

Congrats on the rack, looks like it is potentially worth something.

Personally, it has been a while since I have seen something that ugly. 😀
(going by the manufacturers picture)

The design conflicts with every single piece of furniture I own.
I do wonder what the 'massive' wooden parts are made out of beneath the 1/18in of veneer.
50lbs max per shelf? I could not even put my amp in there.

Sell it, please.
$250 on Craigslist as a start maybe?

An audio 'rack' is technically different, but regardless this is a nice piece of furniture for free. If you want to display your Star Wars collection on it versus A/V gear that would be fine.
