Well, everyone else did as well, but it seems I should boycott Wal-Mart this holiday season because they partnered with the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce.
I don't understand the exact impact this will have on the products the Wal-Mart sells, but I'm guessing that might start carrying some decent clothes and better hair products.
We shall see.
I guess if you happen to purchase your holiday ham or turkey from Wal-Mart this season, there is a chance it was once a gay turkey, or was handled by a homosexual, and it will turn your children and family gay as well.
Just be careful.

But I don't really understand why there is a National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce.
Kinda silly if you ask me.

I dont shop at wal-mart unless it is absolutely necessary.

This is the gays' way of 'fitting in and being the same as everyone else'. They do this by creating a Chamber of Commerce and separating themselves from the normal Chamber of Commerce and creating all these special businesses and gatherings where straight people are not welcome.

Exactly, they get pissed because a minority of people are bigots towarsd them, so they go set up something that is bigotted towards EVERYONE else that doesn't fit in their category.

I think it's actually more or less there to insure that their business can survive in this day and age. There are alot of people, and businesses, that wouldn't shop or buy from a business owned by a homosexual.
The more I read about it, I can see why it could be necessary.

How is a gay chamber of commerce going to help businesses owned by gays get business form straight people? If I don't shop at a business because I don't like their ethics, it's not going to help to know they're in an alliance with other businesses with ethics I don't like. Actually, it's quite the opposite. If I see a sticker on the window of a business saying they're part of this alliance I won't shop there, but I might not have even known that if they didn't display it.

Think of it this way, let's say a gay couple owns a plant nursery.
Well if they are in the gay chamber of commerce, and Wal-Mart is partnering with them, they might start carrying their plants. That way you are buying from Walmart, not directly from the nursery, but the nursery is still making money where they would be making none without that partnership.

Business is business. If someone wants to focus on the business owners sexual orientation, that's fine. But I'm sure the quality of their products do not suffer due to that orientation.

Hmm, that could be an explanation for their holiday slogan this year....."Be Bright". They sure don't mention anything about Christmas in a store where they want you to buy CHRISTMAS decorations and presents. They are even using a neutral color. Everything is blue, no green and red.

But look on the bright side. They replaced their banners with "Merry Christmas" because some Christians were offended at the inclusiveness of the phrase "Happy Holidays"
