I transferred "my" teams to TAC as well, that's Docking@Home and WEP-M2. And yes, Rudy was voted into that position and he's a fully trusted member of TA.

it's been good.
i've been here for a few years.
and, to be honest, while we were chasing the DPC's for #1 in D2OL,
it was good. it was GREAT!

AnandTech just isn't as much 'FUN' any more 🙁

The TAC was created to handle the Boinc-wide team setups. New projects automatically create TeAm AnandTech with the founder TAC. This gives us a uniform appearance across all projects.

So, as we can get around to it, we request founder transfers on the older accounts.

Who appointed you to this position? Did members vote you in?

Yes.

Lol, Andy ya just too impatient 😉, but you're right that it is much quieter around here now.
I hope you don't disappear too!🙁

Yes.

The TeAm-members voted to have a group who would handle the TeAm's accounts because some of the TeAm founders just disappeared and could not be reached and because there was a threat of somebody (essentially anybody) taking over the accounts. There is somewhere a thread about this.

Quite a few members voted and all had the chance to vote.

The members selected to the TAC-committee are Rudy Toody, Tom Philippart and myself.

Wo do the job in trust, and if anybody is unhappy about the state of the TeAm or the TAC-committee please let us know what is wrong and we will discuss it openly in this forum, vote if needed and then heed the outcome of the vote.

looks like I'm late to this one, but TAC is definitely the right group to take over any founder roles that become available.

Yeah, and you are the experienced "old" cruncher - anybody who has crunched before 2003 (i.e. at least 5 full years) is an "old" cruncher ... and that is a fact! 😉 😀

Cheers, old mate!

May the  taste good, flow down your throat and make you happy! 🙂
