Got A Few Questions....Hard Drive and LED Connections???

Ok first off i have this ibm 75gxp 45gb drive. Some how the top left and bottom right pins got either broken or pushed in. The drive seems to work, except sometimes it wont load and you gotta restart. Any idea on which pins the harddrive uses to function, i am guessing all of em? Can this be fixed?

Second question is that i have a motherboard with the front led, restart, power on, etc connections in a block. There isnt enough room for all of my case connections, i can only fit the restart and power on, and the leds dont work on the other pins. Any ideas about this?

Thanks,

Brad

Don't know about the hd drive pins, but for the led pins in your block. You can take those pins out of the block. There should be tiny latches on the block that you can lift up and slide the pins out. Just cover the bare metal connectors with some electical tape and plug it into the mb pins. I had to do this with a HP case that I switch out the mb.

In my case its the reverse of that, i am plugging separated pins from the case, into a block formation on the motherboard...
