It's that time of year again! :D

Just set everything up.

Still waiting on finishing the GPU set up but still going with 4-Way SLI Titan!

Without further ado, I present one of the first (consumer?) 4K Surround setups!

And, for proof:

With 3-Way SLI and all settings maxed out (No AA) @ 6480x3840, F1 2013 gives ~ 100FPS which is simply superb!

Congrats, on your setup. Sorry to sound like a douche, but I really don't understand how people can put up with the bezel on a multi monitor setup. It looks absolutely horrendous, completely takes away from immersion when gaming. I would much rather wait for a 60hz 4k monitor or tv and purchase that instead of going this route.

The bezels are barely noticeable when actually playing a game, but stick out when you're just seeing a pic of the setup. Just my personal experience with surround. Sweet setup ! The input lag/low fps would slay me though as I can't stand lowering IQ.

Madness. Modern cards struggle with 4k let alone 3x 4k. That is a lovely setup but I would personally use the horizontal layout in surround for peripheral vision as the bezels have less impact.

Baasha, Simply STUNNING! May I ask what the rest of your computer specs are? (i.e. cpu, hdd, psu etc?)

My car has pillars in the way of my view I still love driving the crap out of it

Knew someone who had a 1941 Chevy Deluxe 2 door coupe which had a bezel between two pieces of glass that made up the front window. If i recall the glass for both panels were flat as well which i found unique.:)

How thick are your monitors?

Maybe you can overlap the bezel to cut it in half.

It's what I do with my LED ones since they are so thin. My bezel/gap between monitors is less than 1/2".

My interest in this is usually only relegated to seeing other people's setups (like yours), but I readily admit I am jealous and would probably try to create your setup if I had the time and money.

Very awesome dude!

QFT

And SLI's [or CrossfireX] always will have some problems, and are dependent on driver's.

Also my opinion.
Vertical/portrait 3 multi-monitor solution look's strange and 'too many' bezel between image [even if you're focus on image not on monitors].

But if OP are happy... nice. :)

A few months ago I switched over to a 42" TV as my main monitor. After doing all the adjustments it's totally awesome. I sit 4-5 feet away and It's only 1080p but I have no complaints. And no bezels in the middle. Maybe you should have tried a 4k TV. Could have spent way less and I think you'd be happier. I honestly don't think I even need 4k. And it's not a massive resource hog. Just running it off of one 760 GTX.

This was my first thought too. Pull that center monitor closer and move the side ones in.

Also, that game screenshot is only 1920xsomething. Can you at least link to a 6480x3840 screenshot?

Thanks guys! I'm still waiting to finish my 4-Way SLI Titan setup to really push this! I'm having some PSU issues - thought the Antec HCP-1300 should handle 4-Way SLI easily but it doesn't.

I played AC4 Black Flag last night with almost all the settings maxed out except Soft Shadows (Normal) and HBAO (Low) and was still getting ~50FPS @ 6480x3840. Of course, no AA was used.

I have to say, going from 3 30" monitors @ 5160x2560 (13.2MP) to 3 24" 4K monitors @ 6480x3840 (25MP) is a HUGE difference. The pixel density as well as the clarity is phenomenal.

Will do some videos of the setup and some benchmarks as well. ;)

Will update the thread in due time. :)

Where can I upload such a big screenshot? Will Minus work?

Awesome . . . but I'm going to hold off for the 60Hz 4K displays later this year.
