i just got a hannspree 28 inch hf289h today and was all excited then i turned on my starcraft game and it's like 8 inches by 8 inches or something.. i ran other games and they all run fine.. i have a gt8500 card and i'm running 1900x 1200 or something.. i switched res to low settings and game still ran small.. any advice here?

edit: sorry i found issue.. i was running at zoom 1 on settings.. needed 4:3 i guess

This is a common problem with starcraft. Unfortunately I haven't found a fix just a bunch of people with similar problems. Starcraft is only meant to run at low res settings. It is what 10 years old or so? If you find a fix please let me know.
EDIT-OOPS didnt see the edit. Was referring to the inablility to run it on a bigger screen to have more map space.

Yeah I have seen the same problem with Diablo and Warcraft also, but i have read about some hacks out there that allow running the game in unsupported resolutions.

really??? About a 2-3 years ago I couldn't find anything. Maybe time to dust off starcraft. I always wanted to play online but hated the resolution setting enough to put it away.
