Gosh ... they have Cards for Everything

I was recently faced with the task of buying a good birthday present for a 13 year old family member, my niece, a young woman.

I went with a copy of Photoshop & Flash, and a month subscription to Lynda.com, which has video tutorials and stuff. She is an A-student, and I thought, whether it's sitting down with her father to learn Photoshop, or spending an afternoon with her girlfriends enhancing photographs of their favorite celebrity, it might be a good gift.

But ... you know how sometimes when you shop for things ... you see ads for things that ... you never would have thought of ?

CLIFFs

* surprised at variety of greeting card products available for young women who have just had their first period.
* having trouble embedding a pic but still found some humor in the situation.

I wonder if there are cards for young men persons who have just had their first.

Whoever designs these cards earns their pay.

Where's the, you can't trust something that bleeds for a week and doesn't die greeting card?

If they dont have one, make your own.
It would sell, I promise.

Actually, THAT would be the ideal card for a 13 year old boy who's girlfriend suddenly turns into a total bitch for no reason at all.

Wait, is "Photoshop & Flash" the name of a book/magazine, or did you actually buy her a copy of Adobe Photoshop and Flash?

Or is it, arrrr matey?

eh, you can get educational versions at my university for pretty cheap. I got copies of them at work for free. I gave my sister in law photoshop CS that I had gotten a few years ago but never used or installed.
