Saw a commercial for their fishsticks last night. The commercial is about a bunch fishermen on a boat arguing over the last piece of Gorton's when theyre on a boat FILLED WITH FRESH FISH! Why would we trust a bunch of shills!!!

"Breaded" and "fresh" are not mutually exclusive properties of fish.

No.. that's like a cattle farmer going to mcdonalds when he has a freshly slaughtered cow. 😛

Still got work to do to prep it to be ready for cooking, let alone consumption.

FWIW, I'll never eat fishsticks. Strangely, I used to as a kid. As well as tuna.
I cannot STAND anything that lives in the water. Two seafood items I have actually found that I have liked, and the only two, is breaded alligator tail (pretty damn good), and blackened mahi-mahi. Don't know if I'd like it served non-blackened, but blackened it basically tastes like eating blackened chicken. The gator tail had the strangest fishy taste to it, but I don't quite consider it a true fishy flavor, but I think I liked it because it was just so different.

But everything else, including every other fish, ocean insects (crab, lobster) and shrimp... I won't touch. Stuff tastes disgusting.

You mean sashimi? I hate that stuff too....all slimy and chewy. Blech.

I love those breadded halibut sticks you can find in the frozen section. Hmmmmm. Yummy.

Disagree. Good sashimi melts in your mouth and is hardly slimy.
