I saw a post about a Columbia jacket earlier, then discovered this by accident at Dsports.com

It is a Gore-Tex Ice Climber Jacket reg. $250 reduced to $150...there are tons of $20 codes out there....which makes it $130....seems like a hot deal to me.

Go here

I just bought some stuff from a couple days ago. I got the Helly Hansen St. Elias Jacket for 49.97. But now that they have this deal I may send it back and order this one. But I'll have to wait until after I try it out.

Good deal... Actually.. in the coming months, the deals should get better as Gore came out with a new version that's more breathable but retains its wind/water resistance. The older models should slowly phase out.

I remember windstopper/activent.. windstopper went into a blowout because activent replaced it. Windstopper pants for $15 back then.

Are all the Goretex jackets sized pretty big?

I tried on another brand of Goretex jacket the other day and it were sized very large. I normally wear an XL (I'm 6'1" 180lbs), but the L seemed to fit me better in that particular jacket.

On size... its generally a shell so consider wearing fleece under... then its not so big.....

Its a windbreaker/raincoat combo as a best idea to think of it.. If wearing in winter... you need insulation.

But whatever you get.. its really nice. You don't get hot once you get in a store.. you vent...

The better jackets have armpit vents and chest vents. I have a back flap on mine. .seems to work the best.

Yes! I finally get a Gore-Tex! Just in time for rain season too! The only rain proof thing I have is a windbreaker from Gap that I got for $20. This will keep me warmer too! Thanks Murpheeee and whoever pointed me to all of the coupon codes!
