The title says it all. Will my Golden Orb be suffient cooling for a 52 watt Peltier element on a Celeron 2? I think it will since it cools as well the Alpha heatsink the guy I bought it from was using.

Any tips for installation (other than condensation related stuff)? Should I use super glue to hold the copper plate and element and heat sink together? Could I use silicone to hold them together? Do I need to bend the heat sink clip to relieve the extra pressure it will exert from being higher off the core?

No, it really won't. Remember, with a 52W peltier, you're asking the gorb to handle both 52W plus whatever comes off the CPU, so probably 70-80W, well beyond what Gorbs are capable of handling. Not to mention the contact surface fo the G-orb probably will not contact the entire hot-side of the peltier.

And the fact is, gorb's don't cool as well as alpha's in high-W situations. P3s/C2s don't really pump out enough Ws to really reflect this.

Then you're gonna run into the problem of how to mount it, since the twist-mount won't work once you add teh cold plate/peltier to it.

G-orbs are great for Low-wattage situations(ie p3s/c2s conventional cooling), but peltiers should be left for the bigger heatsinks, ones with reserve cooling to handle the extra wattage.
