Yeah, I will have to agree, that is at least one or two more notches up the balls scale, edging into "clinically insane" territory.

But I've seen a lot of those vids. The ski-jump one was new to me.

I think the event is about distance more than height, but he was definitely up there 20 or more feet at the middle of the jump. The overall descent is pretty amazing, if you look at the view from the top at the beginning of the vid, and realize he's heading for that little white landing patch at the bottom.

The TT is also insane. I think they're basically in the same league as the wingsuit guys, and free climbers. If you keep doing any of those things long enough you're going to die.

It takes no balls to slide down a perfectly carved snow slope. Hell just driving on the highway is far more thrilling and dangerous. Any loser could do it.

Flying at 80-120mph a few feet/inches from the ground face down with only the strength of your arms to keep you alive takes a little bit more. Parachute will not save you if you get tired or make a mistake. Its there only for stopping at the end or those who take the leisurely route and stay far above the ground.

Then there's jumping from space...they just made some stupid hoopla shit about a dude that did it "for the first time" but there was actually somebody that did it long before him. Still only 2 people on earth have done it.

This lame ass ski "jump" is so pathetic it's a disgrace to youtube. Give me more stupid animal videos or people cracking their nuts doing stupid shit....more bad music videos or internet memes.

The wingsuit looks like so much fun. I'd seriously consider trying it if given the oportunity, but pretty sure I'd chicken out last minute. I would go sky diving in a heart beat though, somehow, that feels safer. :awe:
