When the gopro fills the sdcard full, does it start recording again from the beginning?

I tried to google for this question but had no luck.
 
I don't want to spend 4+ hrs recording to see what happens, but the FAQ on their site indicates, though doesn't state, that it will stop recording and will not restart recording until there is free space on the card.

Thanks. I guess I missed that part on the faq.
 
never filled mine up. barely use it because I'm pretty disappointed with it.

the videos you see online that they highlight must have some major post-processing because i can never get my videos to look anywhere near what they show.
