We've had these tax breaks for how many years and all the companies that can have already moved to Mexico. Hell, some of them even left Mexico for China. I suppose the taxes in Mexico were too high also?? ROFLMAO@U

Well, the company where I work did over 15 million dollars of business fixing equipment that operates in Mexico. This work was performed by Americans in Texas. We sold an additional 150 million in equipment to Mexico, again equipment manufactured in the US. We sold much more to clients worldwide.

Understand this, the Democrats were voted out of office because the majority of Americans felt they couldn't or wouldn't do the right things to get the economy moving in the right direction.

This may be true to some extent, but If it were put on a ballot, I don't think the people would vote for the top 2% to keep their current tax rates.

The majority of Americans are, of course, extremely intelligent individuals who thoroughly understand all the permutations of fiscal, monetary and tax policy and made a highly informed choice at the ballot box based on these factors...

Unfortunately your company is the exception, not the rule.

I believe you would be surprised. I think many understand there are small to medium businesses that pay taxes as individuals that fall within the top 2%.

Damn, now I gotta get a new meter...you broke it with that one.😀

So by all means provide evidence that keeping these tax cuts on the top 2% is

A.) viewed by Americans as the right thing to do.

B.) That economic data shows tax cuts for the top 2% spur economic growth.

or
C.) Admit that your views on this are based on ideology instead of facts.

So everything is A-OK for you..... until of course your company decides to move your job to Mexico and take advantage of their cheap wages.

They already tried in a Latin American country. The losses were so high due to warranty issues they closed the plant and expanded the US facilities.

That won't stop another country from copying and producing the product cheaper and under-selling your company. If there's a good demand for the product, it's only a matter of time.

I notice how our good friend Lo-Jo doesn't address any factual arguments for or against his position.

This is not surprising.

Also, this definitely looks like a WWYBYWB situation.

They are following through on their promise to keep taxes low for ALL tax payers. You can just smell the jealousy in this thread. "they have enough already"

If you steal more of THEIR MONEY, they have less money to spend. And what we need right now is spending.

I am so fucking tired of this moronic argument. My wife and I paid well over $60,000 in federal taxes last year. This year will be more.

Both Buffet and Gates think they aren't taxed enough.

It isn't jealously you fucking moron, it's simple logic.

They're not spending any where it counts. I'm not jealous, if I had their money, I wouldn't complain about paying their tax rates one bit. I never complain about paying mine now.

And it's only THEIR money because they live where they can make THEIR money. They can move out of the US anytime they want, if they think they are taxed so high here.

Ah but you forget - to the leftists - it isn't stealing because it's the gov't money first to them.

It's quite simple - Buffet and Gates can cut a check to the gov't if they want... oh wait... it's not about them - it's about other people's money.
