GOP at it again. So why is birtherism just for the black man??

That's fine. Just asking why the GOP constantly reverts to racism instead of working on their policies.

Seems like you're the one fixated on race here. The GOP's you bring up seem to be fixated on nationality. Someday you'll figure out the difference.

Seems to me if Obama's detractors have to continually dredge up this tired flogged-to-the-bone dead nag of a hopeless fantasy, it points directly to the lack of genuine, honest crtitcisms the Repubs can sling at him.
.

If only there were some scandals for the Republicans to criticize Obama over…..

So we've had 43 previous Presidents who's citizenship was not questioned. When John McCain ran in 2000 Democrats had the class to publicly declare in advance his citizenship a non-issue. Even though he was born in Panama. Ted Cruz the latest Tea Party darling was born in Canada. Think his birth right will be in question?? Hell no. Republicans save that for President McBlackenstein

So here is your latest example. Remember this hate monger is an actual member of congress along with the dozen or so other birthers. Rep Jeff Duncan (R-SC) in a radio interview...

I see not much has changed since the GOP autopsy. The hostile environment for blacks continues.

I read this three times and saw nothing suggesting this is racially motivated. Do you perhaps have better information than we do, or this just through shit at a wall to see what sticks?

Anything that the Republican Party does is racially motivated obviously. No thinking or evidence required.

That's only an issue for the GOP when black. Remember McCain was not even born in the US. Portraying him as a "Kenyan other" always appeals to the base of the party.

BTW - Romney being rich wasn't the issue it was him being out of touch which did not make him a non-american

while i think people bitching about where Obama was born is silly (not that it matters at this point).

You bringing McCains birth into it is fucking idiotic.

It fits his racist narrative is the only reason he brings it up. But you did nail it as idiotic. That much is certain.

To believe that birtherism is anything other than racially motivated is to be blind and deluded. Unless of course you're a birther, in which case you just don't want to admit to your own racism.

To believe something is based on something completely different than it is really is the definition of blind and deluded. Bringing race or racism into the argument only shows your own preoccupation with race/racism. Quite frankly, its a weak rebuttal to a weak argument.

EVERYTHING in Homer's world is done to suppress the black man. He's a one trick pony. I'm betting that if he stubs his toe, he blames it on whitey.

I got one thing from his post though. He'll see me referring to Obama from time to time as President McBlackenstein.

It's politically motivated more than anything else. Republicans disputed Clinton's legitimacy. Democrats disputed Bush's legitimacy.

You just love the racist narrative.

If Obama were a Reagan conservative running for President I guaran-fucking-tee the GOP would support him while progressives attack him.

Just as much as "the left" says that the GOP needs white people to be scared of blacks in order to win votes, the Democrats need women and minorities to be angry at white men in order to win elections.

Embarrassingly enough I have one on the wifes side of the family and you're more racist than he is.

Meh.

For Kerry it was swiftboating because he used his military experience as support for his campaign.

For Obama it's birthers because he used his time living abroad as support for his campaign.

They're convenient angles of attack for the weak-minded, but for most I doubt it's racism, just ignorance and pettiness.

So Republicans pandering to their base accusing Obama of being a mysterious Kenyan knowing what we know is based on what??

BTW - as for the above just shows I can maintain a sense of humor amidst you clowns

Right now if I had to choose between Obama and something I stepped in and had to scrape off my shoe I'm not sure which I'd rather have in office. Where the dog was born is the least of my concerns.

A tin pot god and his opposition- parrots running around crying Where was he born! Where was he born!

Good grief.
😀 +1 Could be worse - can you say 'President Biden'?

This issue was first used against McCain, remember. I see two reasons why Obama is still getting it, the first being that not a lot else has stuck (and the opposition always needs something, no matter how tenuous.) The second and more legitimate issue is that Obama, unlike any other President, was raised in large part outside of this country.

For the issue itself, Wreckem nails it. "Obama is a natural born citizen, as he was born in Hawaii, so says Hawaii public records and Hawaii's public records cannot be challenged by other states." That should be enough for anyone.

Natinoality? Did you remember John McCain was born in Panama?

lol the more you say it the bigger a fool you look.

/this public records say he was born in Hawaii.

You know that the "I know you are but what am I" argument really shouldn't be used past age 10. There's been no legitimacy to the birther claims since the beginning. They've gotten sillier over time. The falsity of it has been proven SO many times it's silly. Go read the comments on a news article about whatever the newest birther claim is and the racism behind it becomes evident REAL fast.
