When it comes to processors, get the best you can afford, and obviously go AMD. I'd recommend getting an Opteron 144 or 165, depending on budget, and doing some heavy oc'ing.

dual-core (Opteron 165 or X2 3800+)....your already getting a 7900GTX, so you should definitely get a dual-core. Even if you drop it to a 7800GTX and buy a dual-core....you'll probably won't notice a difference since the drivers are somewhat multi-threaded.

get a duel core and oc it. I would recommend getting a zalman or something similar to really push it.

what if i dont want to overclock im thinking about a AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200 2.2 ghz dual core but will it bottleneck and is it hard to install a dual core processor i heard some games dont run good on dual core and you need special patchs and hotfixes and i dont want to deal with that crap

and if that is the case im thinking of getting a single core AMD Athlon 64 4000+ San Diego

The Athlon 64 3700+ seems like a better choice than the 4000+ but you decide.

Unless you're playing games at 1280x1024 with no AA, I wouldn't worry too much about the CPU being a bottleneck. SLI is another story, however.

Seriously, if you can wait 6 months on the CPU, Conroe is going to make CPU bottlenecks a thing of the past (at least for a while).

I know Fortron makes quality PSUs, but for all that stuff you're putting in there I wouldn't want anything less than 500W to be safe. It seems you want to stay on the cheap side for the PSU, which I wouldnt really suggest, but I can recommend this:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817103931

these are great PSUs for the price and I used to own one before getting what i got below as a gift. Seeing that you will be only running one vid card, this psu should be more than enough.

Your cpu is a great choice btw, well anything from a 3000+ and up would be pretty good
