i ordered a defective abit motherboard from them and they refused to take it back for refund or exchange. they gave me the run around saying the motherboard was abused and misused. up theirs, a diode started to smoke up and i got with the rma department. they want me to go back direct with abit. and they charge 25 bucks plus s/h. googlegear has sh*tty customer/warranty service. i will never order from them again.

I agree. I ordered an "open box" Retail P3 off of them. All that I got was a heatsink. Somebody managed to walk off with my $150 CPU and left me with a $10 busted heatsink.

Those broken english speaking SOB's over at googlegear claimed that I was either lying to them or that somebody from UPS stole the CPU.

They wanted me to send the box back to them before I got a refund? YEAH RIGHT!!!! My only proof of evidence. Sure.

I ended up taking it to the CC company and winning.

I will never even so much as look at their front page to provide them revenue from the advertising.

 

Googlegear does suck. I order a bunch of stuff from them a couple of months ago and they raped me on shipping. Not to mention their tracking system sucks. I will never use them again.

glad to hear (not really) i am not the only one i got screwed by them. by the way, this was the first time i booted up the mb and this happen, and i could not believe the nerve of the rma dept saying that it was abused or misused. bunch of a**holes. :|
