Is it just me or is the first search page on google now just advertisement results?

I've noticed the same thing - stupid google spammers....

I don't mean spammers. You know how they have the paid-for-results on the top of the search results page? Now the entire first page is nothing but that.

The worst are the webpages that are just random words that magically match your results.

"Best webpage for random Google search top notch results for random #1 on the internet search.....etc, etc"

It's spyware on your computer. My roommate's and friend's computer does the same thing. Mine still works normally. Only when you click the next will it give you the real results.

Okay, it is just me. I have a crapload of spyware on my computer right now... like unbelievable amounts that just came about one day. Changes my homepage every once and a while and gives me popups every few minutes... tried uninstalling but now I have to format because it just re-installs later.

No they are google bombing it. Google puts pages in rank based on how many times a site links it. So some weiner whackers put up a page with 5 million links to their page and bada bing bada boom their page is on top.

No, a computer with loads of spyware on it will display google results differently than one without any of it.

just customize google to put 100 results in one page. problem solved.
