google will not open for me.

Its certainly me router. Linksys, And its not working on my lappy and my desktop. Any clues, I worked on the settings for my router but its empty, there is nothing to change, all settings are correct. Google is justa blank white page. very odd.

You can move this to the correct spot, if there is one.

EDIT: It was working and has worked since i built this comp. It stopped working a few days ago for about 15 minutes, but now its not working again, Blank screen on both lappy and desktop. in both vista nd Xp, in both explorer and firefox.

because google has stopped working for me several times recently (including today), but yahoo.com works fine for searching when google becomes 'connection to the server was reset'

perhaps it is a comcast problem or google is screwing up.
 
yes, I verified and its ONLY google, everything is working fine. I do have comcast though. maybeit something to do with how they report google or something and the linksys, just does not like it. but, yea, it came back later that night at exactly midnight. And atm it is working jsut fine, just really strange.

Nova2, that is the same error I get on my lappy but not my desktop, My desktop is jsut a blank white browser screen. And when it came back for one it was back for the other as well. I think its something to do with comcast.

the 2nd time it happened to me i was at least able to use google.co.uk but, yesterday when it happened, the .co.uk wouldn't work.
i haven't tested other country codes.

its lame that the google outage can last for several hours.
 
Wow, it must have happened at the same time for us. Mine was in the evening until midnight central. I live in MN.
 
i'm in MI. well, that rules out this problem being specific to only 1 state.

that day google stopped working sometime after 8pm perhaps, i cant remember exactly, but i noticed google was finally working again at around 12am utc -0400
