I have no idea how this works so I need some help. I started a website and want it to show up on Google web searches. How do i get it to start showing up and how long should it take.

Does your site have content? Do other sites link to it? If so, it'll show up soon enough.

They had a submission page if you want to try, just search for "submit page google" or something like that.

put a link in your AT signature, then post 48000 posts on AT and that will help

It was actually submitted there about 2 weeks ago but still isn't showing up. I guess it'll just take some time

I know this was a joke, but I thought I'd mention that this won't really help with rankings at all, which is why many people put it in their signature.

Google used to count it, but they stopped, they realized how easily the total number of links could be and was being abused for using in their ranking method.

i wonder how fobot.net got to third , maybe it was from before they changed
not that i ever had it in my sig, i have it in my profile on some different forums
