Google Wave

Been using it but honestly don't get it. Can anyone tell me a practical use for it?

Those who get on try the AT public wave.
 
If you guys have a bit of time to kill check out the Google Wave video on their site, it explains quite a bit about the software and the rationale for its use.

I haven't gotten any invites yet but I'll hook up whoever if/when I do.
 
It's a neat tech demo, but you can get very lost, very fast in real time use.

I still struggle to find a good use for it IRL.
