Google Trends Game

So, after working on a project, some of my friends and I got sucked into Google Trends... We quickly found out that we can't find a single word/trend that beats Christmas. I'm not looking for average, but a one time spike, or a spike annually or whatever.

type your "trends" and seperate by commas to compare the trends.

Can anyone find one? (In search volume, not news volume)

Michael Jackson was the closest one, but 2004 christmas still beat it.

You're doing it all wrong... you have to compare it to Christmas. So do Hurricane, Christmas. You'll see the two compared. Neither comes close.

Interesting how "sex" peeks around the same time as Christmas every year as well:

If you think that you want to count it, years seem to go in and out of style on an annual basis 😛
