Google toolbar doesn't block popups anymore

It used to get rid of almost 95% of popups. Now I get popups as I'm browsing anandtech or even when I go to espn or cnn sites. Did add companies figure a way to break the blockers?

Sounds like it could be spyware.
1. Install and run adaware or spybot
2. Install Mozilla and stop using a browser that is so frequently exploited.

1. Just did that, lets see if that fixed the problem
2. Can't. I'm a J2EE developer and we support primarily IE.

install crazybrowser, just a new IE frontend with tabs and popup killers, I never get popups
